Linnea Strid

Some people are just born with all the talent in the world. One of those people happen to be Linnea Strid, from Sweden. Her oil on canvas/plywood paintings are some of the most detailed and realistic I’ve ever seen – second to Chuck Close. Most notably, is her ability to paint splashes and pools of water with extraordinary realism and believability, all while making it seem effortless. Truly jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring work!

  6. you don’t understand chuck close at all if you think these images are similar. Choose any of the second-rate photorealists of the 1970s if you want to draw a parallel.
