Linnea Strid
Some people are just born with all the talent in the world. One of those people happen to be Linnea Strid, from Sweden. Her oil on canvas/plywood paintings are some of the most detailed and realistic I’ve ever seen – second to Chuck Close. Most notably, is her ability to paint splashes and pools of water with extraordinary realism and believability, all while making it seem effortless. Truly jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring work!

Brilliant!! Outstanding work…I was in fact checking for the photographic technique used here before I read the writeup.
this is FUCKING INSANE
It’s a lie
you don’t understand chuck close at all if you think these images are similar. Choose any of the second-rate photorealists of the 1970s if you want to draw a parallel.
the cake is a lie!
