Young Santa Barbarian photographer, Stephen Tamiesie, has a wonderful eye and a geometric mind. His Places series offers an inside look at what it’s like to be a stranger in a foreign environment. This on-going project features various banal and platitudinous locations whose reserved aura and quiet pallet come to create an undefined mystic.

I really dig the atmosphere of these photos. — Although I have never seen so many handicapped spots in my entire life! – Why so many? and why all bunched together like that? kinda defeats the purpose of the spot, haha
