Jess Hirsch
Minnesota-born, Oregon-living, Jess Hirsch, is a young female illustrator with a cute, minimalist style. Her method of scaling her subjects down to leave an immense amount of unused canvas space makes for some rather lovely framing and composition. That, combined with the beautiful, children’s-book style to her work creates a warm, walk-down-memory-lane type of feeling.
Although not posted here, Jess also has a series of pencil drawn wrestlers whose garments were clearly inspired by the Dutch artistic movement, De Stijl. To check out that series and more, click here.
